The Road back from Candidiasis is not easy
If you have read my story you will know that Candidiasis has been a weakness in my system since I was quite young. But it wasn’t until I was in my 40’s and sick for 6 years with a major infection that resulted in parasites, leaky gut syndrome and severe malnutrition that I finally got on top of the candidiasis and crawled my way back to health.
It was through the Body Ecology Diet (BED) that I found recovery.
Now there are many treatments for candidiasis out there but one of the things I’ve learnt is that there are no shortcuts when it comes to conquering this insidious condition. If you’ve dealt with even half the symptoms that come with Candidiasis you’ll know that your life is robbed of any goodness and most days you feel like you’re the walking dead. All the more reason for finding the right recovery program. Finding the recovery you need will take time and patience.
The Get Healed Quick Remedies For Candidiasis
In my 20’s when I was the “healthiest sick person” around, I could live in partial denial of having a Candida problem. The sinus issues, the aches and pains in my muscles and joints, the cysts and nodules on my skin, the headaches, the PMT symptoms, the cold sores and mouth ulcers, the diaarhea, the cramping, the nausea and the list went on. Fortunately I didn’t get the whole lot on the same day but often I would battle at least 3 symptoms daily.
So I looked for anything that would make me feel better or at least give me some relief and comfort. I tried acupuncture, shiatzu massage, slippery elm powder, vitamin and mineral supplements, yoga, meditation, IBS remedies, many “alternative” therapies and that list goes on as well. It wasn’t that these treatments didn’t help. They did at least for a short time. But that was it. In themselves they didn’t address the complete condition but simply treated a symptom of Candidiasis.
I’d also pursued advice which wasn’t congruent from one practitioner to another. The list of diets would go on….
- Yeast Free diet
- Gluten Free diet
- Macro diet
- Elimination diet
- Don’t change anything diet
- Eat only protein
- Eat only vegetables
It was still the same problem. All of these diets were good for awhile but didn’t address all my symptoms and consequently the problem.
Treating Candidiasis With BED
When finally I was introduced to BED I think for the first time the dots started to connect. I realised that all the symptoms I had suffered with came from the same condition. Candidiasis. By this time though I was desperate for something to work and was going to do whatever it took to get my health and ultimately my life back.
What a relief to find that after only 4 days of being on BED my symptoms started to dissipate. It took 12 months of being strictly on BED that I could move to the next level.

When I look back on that first day of finding out about BED I wasn’t looking forward to hearing what else I had to eliminate. I was pleasantly surprised when I found that while there were a couple of things that had to go I got to include things in my diet that I hadn’t heard of before. It’s always nice to find out that you can eat something rather than you can’t.
I discovered Quinoa, Millet and Buckwheat. I discovered that I could eat fats and oils. And I discovered a whole range of exciting cultured foods that would help grow the healthy bacteria back.
Fighting Candidiasis isn’t something that will happen overnight but step by step you can regain your health. By following BED I found the road back from Candidiasis.
