A delightfully refreshing smoothie packed with antioxidants and a nice hit of spice - a perfect pick me up.
Recipe type: Smoothie
Serves: 1-2
  • ¼ cup raspberries (fresh or frozen)
  • ¼ cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • A piece of fresh ginger about 4 cm grated (less if you don't like so much spice)
  • ½ of a fresh orange peeled and quartered (you could use lemon or grapefruit)
  • ½ cup coconut water (use filtered water if wanting to lower the fructose levels)
  • Ice cubes - if you are using fresh berries
  1. In a blender or food processor blend all ingredients.
  2. Add more coconut or filtered water to get the perfect consistency
For a slightly thicker, creamier smoothie add ½ a chopped banana.
